I am a VERY impatient person so this was huge. It was late evening when I told her I wanted to see 6 houses in one day because we had to drive 3-4 hours to get there. That night she had a showing booked for the day we needed for all of them. It was love at that point. I knew she was for me!! Hahah..she always answered my calls (again, huge for me) and when we met her in person, she seemed to "get" us. She gave advice when we needed it and was so patient. Our funding took about 7 months longer than we had expected, and rather than drop us, like most people would have, she continued to check in about every month or so. We finally got our funding, we found the more than perfect house overlooking the best view in all of Bryson City, and then when our movers almost backed out on us, she offered herself and her husband to help - in the dark - in the rain. I told her I wouldn't have even done that for my best friend! She is THE BEST. We have two more properties we want to get for rentals and of course will use nobody but her. Ten stars **********

Aside from all of that, the house we purchased had an awful realtor but we had Christy to track down their realtor and get us what we needed when their realtor was reluctant to do their job. If we had anyone else in our corner, I don't think we would have got this home and if we did, we would have lost our sanity in the process. I couldn't imagine anyone being a more professional, friendly and engaging realtor.

She was patient, very knowledgeable and very responsive throughout the process- from helping us find the house, put in the offer in this crazy market, guide us through all the inspections, recommending companies to work with and scheduling various appointments. We live out of state and we were closing remotely. Christy offered to go to the property and face time us from it right before closing just so we would have a peace of mind. We knew that my parents house would not fit both families but it was important for us to be there. We started looking and were immediately overwhelmed by the market. Knowing that this would be our "forever home" we had some lofty expectations. Dealing with Ms Christy felt like working with an old friend. She helped narrow our search, utilized her knowledge of the area, services (inspectors, engineers, contractors) and local rules and regulations, to find the perfect piece of property for our wants and needs. This was not our first home purchase, but it was by far the smoothest and least stressful. Her guidance and advice was sound and we would have been lost without her. Since we put in our offer for our property in December through closing and continuing. Helping us find contractors to contact to set up repairs/updates we want to make when we get back up there in a couple weeks. We're 9-10 hours away in Florida and she has made this such an easy transition for us. We love the property and can't wait to get back up there. You won’t be disappointed. We were from Charleston, SC. In this case, I felt that it was absolutely necessary, to publicly acknowledge Christy Mitchell. She was exactly what we needed in a realtor, and we couldn't have been more pleased with her work. First, Christy could not have assessed the value of our home better, as she listed it perfectly for the market. Second, she gave advice throughout the entire sale process that was unbeatable, due to her vast experience. Third, and probably most important of all, she never quit working to get our home sold. She put in extra effort every day, and used every available resource at her disposal, to keep our house in the public eye.
